SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – MC Companies, the residential real estate investment, development and management company, has an ever expanding mission to give back to those in their community. This month, MC rallied behind the Phoenix Rescue Mission Code Red Water Drive.

The MC Companies corporate office, along with their Phoenix properties, The Place at Fountains at Sun CityThe Place at Wickertree and The Place at Santana Village came together to donate water bottles to the Phoenix Rescue Mission. In total, MC donated over 8,400 bottles of water that they were able to collect in one week. MC also had the support of their business partners and vendors: Palomino Construction and Behr Paint that donated one palette of water.

“It is amazing to see what we can accomplish when we come together as a team,” said President Lesley Brice. “Our company culture encourages giving back to others and sharing the good life with those less unfortunate, so joining the Code Red Water Drive was a no-brainer for us. Helping the Phoenix Rescue Mission was something positive for our staff to get behind that will have a tremendous impact on people in need.”

The Phoenix Rescue Mission is a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for men, women, and children in our community struggling with homelessness, addiction, and trauma. They offer shelter, food and water to those in need. Through donations, the Phoenix Rescue Mission is able to make a difference in the lives of those who are homeless.

MC Companies has a history of giving to local non-profits. With its creation of the Sharing the Good Life Foundation, MC Companies has lent a hand to non-profits such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, to the Epilepsy Foundation. This foundation allows its team members to participate in local volunteer work to support the communities where they live, work and play.

Through employee giving and volunteering, the Sharing the Good Life Foundation has helped over 26 charities since it began. In 2015, MC employees gave over $13,000 in payroll contributions to charitable causes and non-profit groups in addition to $7,500 that was awarded through 15 different grants. In total for 2015, The Sharing the Good Life Foundation saw a total of $141,092.95 go to a variety of organizations through grants, PTO donations, VTO donations, and employee nominations.
