MC Companies is challenging employees to volunteer in their local communities through their paid volunteer time off program.  Uplifting local communities where they live, work, learn and play is a canon of MC Companies values as a company, and is facilitated by the Sharing The Good Life Foundation.

Each year MC Companies allocates every employee in the organization 16 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off.  Employees are encouraged to use their VTO hours throughout the year by volunteering at non-profit organizations that have significance to their lives. Just over two months into the 2019 calendar year, MC employees have volunteered over 275 hours at non-profits in Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma. Arizona Helping Hands, Habitat for Humanity, Beneficial Beans, Haven for Hope, and Wildhorse Ranch Rescue are just a few of the non-profits MC employees have volunteered at so far.

“What makes this VTO program so incredibly special is that it allows every employee to volunteer and give back to an organization that is significant to them personally” says Lesley Brice, President and Partner of MC Residential LLC.  “Not only does the VTO program enrich our employees lives through volunteerism, but it expands our ability to give back to these incredible non-profits that are right here in our local neighborhoods.”

MC Companies has challenged their employees in 2019 to use all 1,600 hours of allotted VTO time – a goal which, so far, looks like they will have no problem achieving.

In addition to the VTO program, MC Companies runs their employee driven Sharing the Good Life Foundation that fundraises year-round through multiple channels, and gives back to local communities and non-profit organizations through employee grant requests and company sponsored events.  Go to the Sharing the Good Life Foundation website to learn more about how you can get involved.
